A pedestrian route through the building aligns with axia, connecting to the main dining hall. A new Village Square is created by the positioning of the relation to the other village residences.
Project Size 98,000 sq.ft. Project Budget $13 million. Designed by Teeple Architects in association with Architects Tillmann Ruth Mocellin

Geometry Fluidity House Villa Design Concept

A connection and fluidity architectural concept applied in this villa house design. What a very inspirational residence idea. Called as Dupli.Casa, this luxury villa offers a serenity atmosphere and wide range of luxurious accommodation. With extended modern swimming pool which seems become reflection of the house above it, the continuous journey from outside (sloping landscape) into inside (modern interior) never ending.

The geometry of the Dupli.Casa is based on the footprint of the house that previously was located on the site, originally built in 1984 and with many extensions and modifications since then. The new building echoes the “family archeology” by duplication and rotation. Lifted up, it creates a semi-public space on ground level between two layers of discretion. The spatial configuration of the villa performs a sophisticated connection between inside and outside and offers spectacular views onto the old town of Marbach and the German national literature archive on the other side of the Neckar valley. This house designed by Jürgen Mayer H Architects.
