As one of the first new housing co-operatives to be built in many years. The units range from 1-bedroom to 4-bedroom with 2-storey units on the second and third floors. Many units have private terraces and many of the public corridors are naturally lit.
This project will set an example for urban infill and sustainable house design goals. Located at Richmond Street and Church Street in downtown Toronto, this 12-storey building seeks to provide an alternative to the majority of recent glass tower condominium projects. The 85-unit co-operative will be formed, primarily, of tenants requiring relocation due to the Regent Park redevelopment but also having a common characteristic of being employed in the hospitality field. The ground floor consist of a training kitchen and restaurant, as well as several classroom areas.
