The Foundation School Design Building

This project plans, a new building for The Foundation School, is approximately 60,000 square feet, designed by WMCRP Architects. The design consists of a L-shaped structure with a two-story classroomwing and a one-story administrative and gymnasium/media center wing. Due to the high staff-to-student ratio, the facility includes a large number of offices and meeting rooms for the educational and clinical specialists.
Additionally, this facility also includes a multi-purpose room, a number of general classrooms, and art, science and computer classrooms. Along with the new building, several site improvements were included, such as: parking lots, bus drop-off loop and roads, a basketball court, a practice field and play area. New utilities have been provided, as well as a bio-retention stormwater management facility and complete landscaping of the site.
