Spatial Fabric Architecture Design as Home Orientation

The luxurious things of this house design are open space and unbuilt space. In this house, open space elements, garden, and open veranda that called as spatial fabric dominated the architecture design.

Building’s façade look simple with saddle roof which have steep angle. Other is earth colors on wall, harmony with garden domination and shaded trees which block direct view to façade. Privation aspect given by trees appropriated with façade design that has closed surface and open surface, while other side has enter door area in unique design, that is iron trellis like outdoor gate, so it is not only transparent but also make light and wind easy to come in part of building.

That main door direct connected with huge open veranda that continuous to back part of building. This open veranda placed in middle of rooms’ organization, but has semi outdoor characteristic, formed through open design that direct connected with outside area, that is landscape area. From that layout condition, this open veranda functioned not only as connection path, but also as building axis. This veranda is communal area.

This building formed as linier. The orientation of rooms’ layout is at open veranda. First zone is foyer area in front of main door. At this area, there is flying stair in simple design from exposed concrete and hollow iron as railing. Beside as circulation path to children bedroom, this stair also as unique and attractive aesthetics factor of open veranda.

Meanwhile, at right side of open veranda, there is main bedroom, with make up room, and clothing storage. At left side, there is rift, path to garage, services area, and kitchen. At veranda that in front of kitchen which faces the garden, there is huge grill that also has function as aesthetic accent. Living area consist of television area, sitting area, and dining area, looks like glass box, because design in square form wrapped with wall with wide glass aperture.
