This is house extension project of 70s house. New structure consists of main bedroom along with bathroom, walk-in-robe, and a timber deck to the north. Hallway joinery also built to create connection to existing house. New courtyard garden built, one placed at front of house, offering renewed privacy to the new bedroom. Second at back, unify with the timber deck. The courtyard garden featuring Japanese maple trees create drama to conform to the simplicity of light in form, color, and detail of extension construction (typical of Japanese house design). The result, now the entrance house area has two opposing sides, create more delightful exterior appearance of house. The bedroom designed in open structure with large glass walls, facing to the timber deck. Designed by Black Line One X (Bloxas) Architects.
