Modern Design of Traditionally Northwest Style House Pavilion Design

Two architecture styles are expressed in this house, a modern concept with traditional architectural forms. Those two styles influenced each other both outdoors and indoor space design in aesthetic forms. Built on bottom of steep ravine, this house spilt into three pavilions – Main Living, Bedroom, and Garage. The pavilions connected each other with open garden and interior terrace support each other so its make pavilions unified and created relaxing views.

The main pavilion receives south light and has views out all four sides–up and down the ravine, across to the rock outcroppings and to the interior terrace. The merging of open spaces, broad expanses of glass and strong connection to the outdoors is combined with traditional forms and a predominance of warm materials such as wood and stone. Inside, a luxurious interior design with huge logs ceiling accent is really make this house feel like relaxing palace. Designed by Tea2 Architects.
